ARNELL NEWMAN | ENGINEER & PRODUCER

Arnell Newman, a member of the Chicago Grammy Chapter, got his start back in the 90's with his innovative and unique DJ style. It didn't take long before Arnell was working on a variety of projects. As he mastered his technical skills, Arnell began assisting at some of Chicagoland's prestige commercial facilities. In 2000, Arnell Newman was selected for his first major label remix submission. His title - executive producer/assistant mixing engineer, featuring the late and incredibly famous Whitney Houston, who with Debra Cox created the song titled, "Same Script "…. This was only the beginning!

Since then, Arnell Newman has worked with major recording artists such as Tyrese, Jon B, Tarrey Torae, Roy Ayers, Dwele, DJ Quick, RaeKwon, Steph Jones, J Ivy, Traxxter, Max-A-Million, Do or Die, and Lee England. While he has worked with many heavy hitters in the music industry, he is committed to embracing many up-and-coming artists from a wide variety of cities.

The truth is it takes a lot of dedication to do what Arnell has done. Engineering and mixing is no easy task and it can fail miserably if not performed correctly. It takes knowledge and skill which is what Arnell Newman is known for. As a team leader Arnell knows that the music industry (and those who love music) demands nothing less than exceptional quality, and that is what he delivers. He understands  that music production is a collaboration and works hard to include the right people for each project who have the expertise to bring about the desired result. When asked why his style of mixing is so appealing to so many different people, he put simply: "I've been a fan of many genres, therefore it enables me to connect."
